McLane Group Awarded State of Texas Deliverables Based Information Technology Services (DBITS) Contract
McLane Group, L.P., the parent company of McLane Logistics Technology, McLane Intelligent Solutions, and McLane Advanced Technologies, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to receive a Deliverables Based Information Technology Services (DBITS) contract.
The DBITS contract vehicle allows state agencies and other Texas government entities to purchase technology services directly from awarded vendors, simplifying and expediting the state procurement process. According to Karen Robinson, DIR Executive Director and the State of Texas Chief Information Officer, “The customer and vendor response to this contract approach has been overwhelmingly positive.”
State and local government entities will be able to purchase a wide variety of technology services directly from the three McLane Group technology companies in the following technical categories:
Application Maintenance and Support
Technology Upgrade/Migration and Transformation
